Body Shop Vitamin C Sheet Mask
The Body Shop has released another sheet mask, the Vitamin C Glow Sheet Mask. They already had Aloe, Vitamin E (review on both of these), S eaweed and Drops of Youth (review). It will be interesting to see if they release any more, for their other skincare ranges.
The Vitamin C Glow sheet mask is suitable for all skin types. It is enriched with Vitamin C Rich Camu Camu from the Amazonian Rainforest Peru and Community Trade Aloe Vera from Campeche Mexico.
They say after 15 minutes grumpy skin feels hydrated, awakened and healthier. It will instantly give your skin a dewy glow, natural radiance and 24 hours of hydration. They say you can use a Vitamin C sheet mask twice a week and after 4 weeks of using it twice a week, the overall appearance is improved, skin looks happier and skin looks radiant.
The sheet mask is a single use and the actual sheet mask is biodegradable. On the back of the packet it says "Delivers an optimal soft and smooth feeling on the skin and is produced with environmental responsibility in mind. Its' fibres are created using a sustainable and eco-friendly process and are developed to fully biodegrade in accordance with the European EN13432 standard".
Remove the sheet mask from the packet. Unfold and apply to the face. Smooth over the skin and I like to massage the product into my skin a bit. Leave on for 15 minutes, then take off and massage in any excess product.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the packet, was it had quite a strong scent. When I was wearing it, it wasn't as strong and once the mask was removed, it just left a subtle scent on the skin.
I found this sheet mask, was slightly smaller than the other ones I have tried from them, so it didn't fit as good. I will be buying this mask again, so it will be interesting to see if the size is better with the next one.
The mask has lots of product on and I always massage in any excess product, when I have removed the mask. I find it takes a couple of minutes for the excess product to fully soak into the skin. It doesn't leave it sticky or greasy.
My skin looked so much brighter, more radiant and had a lovely glow to it. It felt soft and smooth. My skin felt really hydrated, so I didn't apply any more products over the top and it kept my skin hydrated throughout the night. I noticed my skin the next morning, was looking much better and had definitely benefited from the Vitamin C boost.
